This is going to be a blog where I will highlight my favorite verses, popular verses, and some that maybe some people have never even read. I am going to be quoting sometimes several verses, sometimes just one. I am using the English Standard Version Bible. To kick things off, I'm going to start with my personal very favorite verse.
Colossians 3:15
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called to one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the father through him*.

This verse calls us to dwell in peace, as one body, and to do everything to the glory of the Lord. Whenever I am frustrated or angry throughout the day, I just murmur those first few words to myself, and it always calms me.
